Mr. Cumberland has been in the education sector for the past 18 years while has also worked as a freelance musician, writer and composer during this time. He is a PhD Candidate in Education at York University and Artist-In-Residence. He has worked in the not-for-profit sector for eighteen years - three of these at The O&A Hospital Foundation (now Sunnybrook) where he helped to raise $10 million. His volunteer commitments in the not-for-profit sector include: Patria Music/Theatre Projects, where he has helped raise $1.5 million over the past 14 years; The Clarke Institute of Psychiatry's (now CAMH) fund raising committee for the First Chair for Schizophrenic Research - $2 million; The Hospital for Sick Children's Campaign Launch for $82.5 million; and St. Peter's Anglican Church, Cobourg, as Chair of the Ways and Means Committee & chair of their Annual Campaign for two years. Sandy MacKenzie: Vice-President, Philanthropic Architect & Partner of insp ! re A DVA Navion Company, CFRE Sandy has two decades of experience in fundraising, public relations and marketing with a variety of institutions seeking philanthropic support. He has conducted over 25 campaign feasibility studies and worked on more than 16 capital campaigns with goals totaling more than $600 million. Sandy has held a number of senior fundraising positions for both charities and philanthropy consultants, including vice-president and campaign director of the Royal Ontario Museum for its "Renaissance ROM" campaign; vice-president, development for the Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation and associate vice-president, western Canada with Inspire (Formerly DVA Navion). He also held senior fundraising roles with the Rehabilitation Institute of Toronto (now Toronto Rehab) and the Clarke Institute of Psychiatry Foundation (now The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health - CAMH). Sandy has a hands on role with a variety of clients that includes campaigns to build a new children's treatment centre and an expansion of a community hospital, as well as strategic planning for several charitable organizations. Nancy Redner is an organizational consultant with senior management expertise in fundraising, volunteer administration, communications, conference and extraordinary event planning. She has worked in both the public and voluntary sectors for over forty years and has helped raise more than $200 million. She is best known for her outstanding leadership, strategic planning abilities and her creativity in achieving targeted fundraising goals. Nancy's clients have included: The Hospital for Sick Children Foundation, The Clarke Institute of Psychiatry Foundation, York-Finch General Hospital, the Canada Studies Foundation, the Volunteer Centre of Metro Toronto, The United Way of Greater Toronto; the Province of Ontario Ministry of Culture and Recreation. As a volunteer, Nancy has served in leadership and executive positions with a wide variety of voluntary organizations including participation at local, provincial, national and international levels. Nancy has been supporting PATRIA projects since 1986, having served as a former Board member in the capacities of Policies, Procedures, Fundraising & Marketing. In recognition of her numerous community activities she has received several awards including the Province of Ontario's Bicentennial Gold Medal for Outstanding Service to the Community at Large, the Outstanding Achievement Award from the Ministry of Citizenship and Culture for support of the Arts in Ontario and a Canada 125 Medal for distinguished service to the community.\ A career banker, Charles Wickett spent 30 years with Scotiabank - the first five working in various Ontario branches. In 1980, Charles joined the Bank's Internal Audit group and in 1983 was appointed head of the audit group for Scotiabank's operations in London, England - a post he held for 5 years. In 1988, Charles switched to line management responsible for Operations and held various positions in London and Toronto culminating with his appointment as Senior Vice President and Head of Scotiabank's Global Trading Operations. In 2005, Charles left banking to satisfy his creative side with the restoration and renovation of a century home in Port Hope, Ontario. Matthew Jacob Strand: Director With a unique blend of project management, marketing and fundraising in both the private and non-profit sector, Matthew is a strategic solutions entrepreneur. Highlights of his work includes managing a multi-year greenhouse gas emission reduction project in Brazil, coordinating a United Nations International Children's Conference on the Environment and founding an award winning youth empowerment organization. Jerrard (along with Diana Smith) has been principal designer for the Patria works since 1981.
