The Story

It is evening. Some children come running out of the forest saying that one of their companions, Ariane, has been lost and they are afraid to go back to look for her because it is getting dark. Earth Mother tells them not to be afraid since there are adults in the gathered audience who will protect them.  So the children take the hands of the audience, and together they enter the darkening forest. No sooner have they entered than miracles begin to occur. They meet a dying White Stag, then an arrogant Marsh Hawk, who directs them to Murdeth the Wizard, who wants to turn the forest into a housing development and they learn about Fenris the Wolf who is trying to protect the forest. With the help of Hatempka, a little old lady who lives all alone in the forest, and her friend Shapeshifter a moth with miraculous powers, the forest is saved from Murdeth’s plan. And do they find Ariane?
